Babywearing is, and always has been, the global and historical norm for transporting and holding babies and toddlers. While much of our society has transitioned away from the practice, it still holds enormous benefits for adults and children.
Benefits Include:
Increased bonding and attunement between adult and baby.
Ergonomic comfort for adult while holding baby.
Support for baby's gross motor development.
Freedom and comfort for adult to use their arms.
No matter where you are on your babywearing journey, I can help out! My services are best offered in-person, but can be accommodated virtually.
A Fit Check is a brief one-on-one consultation. It is right for you if:
You want to make sure you are using your carrier correctly.
Something feels "off" whenever you babywear.
Your child suddenly grew or entered a new stage and you want to make sure your carrier is still supporting them.
You have been babywearing for a while, but are experiencing discomfort or fatigue.
A Babywearing Education Session is an in-depth one-on-one consultation. It is right for you if:
You want to start babywearing but have no idea where to start.
You are nervous to try your carrier for the first time.
You want to try out a new type of carrier.
You or your baby have medical/mobility/accessibility challenges.
A Babywearing Clinic is a group class for parents hosted by a babywearing educator. At a clinic you will:
Talk with other caregivers about their babywearing experience.
Try out many different types of carriers.
