Educational Philosophy

My philosophy of early childhood education and care continues to grow and develop as I deepen my awareness of the ways young children understand and interact with their world.  Below are some of my philosophical principles and theories and resources that have informed these philosophies 

Young Children are fully-formed human beings, and early childhood is a valuable, impactful, and rich life phase.

Diversity and inclusion are assets to young children's lives.  Adults who care for and about young children have a responsibility to break down barriers and systems of oppression to optimize the lives of all children.
